I lead cross-functional teams, author foundational compliance policy, and design risk-based controls that satisfy regulatory requirements without creating friction for users or the business.
About
Compliance operations and product delivery experiences form the foundation of my expertise. I have built both from the ground up across startups and enterprise-level companies: leading large, high-volume operations teams across multiple jurisdictions, then taking ownership of the product roadmap that automates and scales what operations does manually.
My approach is risk-based. I do not believe compliance should be experienced as friction. The frameworks I design are calibrated to actual risk signals, not applied uniformly across a user base, so that regulatory requirements are fulfilled without compromising business goals and objectives. This is the balance I bring to both worlds.
I am AI-native. I build production compliance tools, author the policy and procedure frameworks that give those tools the required regulatory posture, and lead the compliance and engineering teams that maintain them.

Automates scoring, tiering, and treatment decisions — from KYB verification and watchlist screening to reserve sizing and continuous re-scoring — while keeping human judgment over every consequential action.
AI CapabilitiesA production-grade, multi-tenant compliance API suite built for African fintech operations. Consolidates KYC identity verification, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and AML detection into four unified services: Iris, Argus, Aegis, and Gylde — the shared platform layer for authentication and API management.
AI CapabilitiesA compliance screening tool for fintech and payments teams that screens merchants against six global sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN, UK, Australia, and Canada) plus adverse media sourced from RSS feeds and the GDELT global news database, with fuzzy matching, bulk CSV batch processing, scheduled sanctions list updates via cron job, and a full audit trail for regulatory review.
